Information for Authors


Written Contributions:
Contributors of both oral and poster presentations should submit material suitable for publishing in the workshop proceedings and on the website. The written material can be in the form of either a regular conference paper (5 pages maximum), in the form of slide presentations,  as an electronic version of the poster suitable for printing as one or several pages. All submissions are preferably made in pdf-format(Acrobat) but also the following electronic format are acceptable:  MS Word or MS Powerpoint. Accepted contributions will be printed in the workshop handouts and published on this website after the conference. The submission deadline is:

Oral Presentations:
Presenters should limit their presentations to about 15 minutes and allow for at least 5 minutes of questions and discussion. (35 minutes + 5 minutes for invited presentations).
Poster Presentations:
Presenters are allocated  2 screens of size  1,4m x 1,0m  (HxW) each for their posters. The posters should be posted well in advance of the respective poster session, preferably during the lunchbreak each day.
In addition, presenters should prepare 1 slide in ppt or pdf format for a 2 min oral "advertising" presentation at the beginning of each poster session.

    

Audiovisual equipment:
The workshop facilities are equipped with 
  • SVGA resolution projector
    The presenters should preferably bring their own laptops. Use the breaks between session to check that your computer display setup and cables are the proper ones for the projector. Make sure that your laptop is ready to immediately display your presentation when its your turn to avoid unnecessary delay between presentations. As backup we recommend that you bring a copy of your presentation in pdf or MS Powerpoint format on a USB-memory stick or CD).
    Poster presenters should have their slide loaded and ready on the laptop provided by the organization before the beginning of the session.
